Read this if you need great California tips.

For the past couple of years, I've made it a point of travelling to different places. Going to California was on my "places to visit" list. Me and my friend were pretty much planning on staying together for Christmas and New Year's. And what could be better than California with a whole house for us?
I know it sounds all cool and amazing. Unfortunately, it was a mix of crazy fun places and sad annoying days.
Pro Tip: If you are travelling with only one person, this is the IDEAL situation. Make sure that the person you are travelling with is always down for visiting new places. And not recently heartbroken.
It all started when me and my friend decided to go visit California for our winter vacations. We were too hyped to see what was coming next. We had the whole house to ourselves and only one of us knew how to cook.
We planned it to be an amazing trip. Little did I know, my friend will break-up with her boyfriend a few weeks before our trip.
Anyways, on our way to Cali, I consoled her about her ex and we decided to enjoy the trip as much as possible. But when reality hits you, even your best friends' advice never works. And so, there she was crying in one bedroom all alone when no one was around.
Let's put the complaining on the back seat of the car. Now, where was I? During the time in California, which was about 20 days, we went to places like ChinaTown, City Hall Library, Santa Monica beach, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, San Diego, and Disney World. That's right! Disney World.
Every day in California taught us different things.
California Learning
LA Downtown = New York City
Even though people claim California is different from New York City, it is not so. Downtown LA is as crowded as New York City's Times Square. You can always find street dancers on the streets of California. The only difference is that California comes with beaches. Also, Downtown LA taught me ice skating, it was pretty much some bruises-to-my-body experience.

Peace on the beach
I have always heard people saying, "there is no other place like beaches." Having to witness the beauty of Californian beaches makes me the luckiest girl. The beach gives you the satisfaction of people surfing, music of the ocean waves, as pretty as picture sunsets, and walking barefoot on the sand. The magic of the ocean and the sky was incredible.

The Magic of Disney World
Well, Disney World is even more mystical than it sounds. I have always heard Disney World is a place where magic happens but honestly never believed it. But when I went there, the magic was in the air and I could sense it. It is the most outstanding and exceptional place on Earth. The experience was speechless and breathtaking.

NOTE: Visiting all these awesome places in California in the winters taught me never to think of California as a hot summer place especially during the month of December because a breeze of cold wind can shake your core.
But all in all, the experience of California, even though it made me a model, but also gave me the opportunity to explore the world with a new eye and excitement.
The visit to California gave me a chance to explore my hidden modeling talent. ;)
